Graduated from the Margarita Janer Palacios High School in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico in 1967 with high honors of the General and Commercial course.
He completed university studies at the University of Puerto Rico, in Business Administration and studies at the Puerto Rico Insurance Institute and other insurance institutions, where he obtained the designations of: IIA and CISR.
From 1968 to 1970 he worked as a Clerk in the Employers' Mutual of Wasau insurance company.
He joined the US Army Reverve of Puerto Rico in 1970 until 1978 ending with a Rank from Sergeant E-6 (Staff Sergeant).
My story
I started my insurance career in 1970 as Assistant and Manager of the Auto Department. I was in charge of the supervision of employees and service to the producers of Anglo Puerto Rican Ins. Corp. and Antilles Insurance Company.
In 1981, Anglo Puerto Rican Ins. Corp. and Antilles Insurance Company appoint me as Assistant Manager of the Commercial Department in charge of the subscription of Commercial Accounts and Claims. In 1990 I obtained my Miscellaneous Insurance Broker License, Life and Accident, which opened the doors to new offers and in 1990 the Joaquín Palerm Insurance Office, Inc. hired me as Manager of the Commercial Department in charge of the supervision of employees and service to commercial accounts. He handled a sales and business volume of $ 3,000,000.
For the year 2000, Aon of Puerto Rico, Inc. hires me as a Business Account Executive in charge of the service and marketing of business accounts handling a business volume of $ 5,000,000.
In 2006, my daughter María Isabel married Mr. Ángel Manuel Sierra and obtained her insurance agent license, starting a new career in her life within an avant-garde company, leaders in technology and customer service, where to this day Today we work as a family and we offer the best to our clients.
